A True Nation And Its True Heroes (Genre: Society)
It is one that believes in allowing to live and accepts the right to exist of other nations and uses its time, money and energy in advancing the lives of its citizens. It ensures that it should not succumb to unethical practices including corruption which today mars the existence of most second and third world countries. It is a matter to ponder even as it is disgustful that the Eastern block countries, including Russia, are now major citadels of corruption despite being of the European stock.
A true nation recognizes the efforts of its people and aims to give a fair life to its citizens. It is sensitive to the aspirations of people unlike in India where there is no law and order and no respect for human life and this is also true for most other Asian, African and South American countries. It is because there is no democracy in these countries that humanity is breeding ill-will. Hence to be truly a true nation a country, has to be, democracy in real worth and not just in name.
A true nation wherever, it may be, salutes its personnel in the forces, its social workers and all its ordinary and honest citizens who stand apart in the nature of work they do for it is both critical and noble and mostly goes unrecognized. They are thus the true heroes and so the movies, music, media, entertainment, sports, politics and business celebrities and those of their ilk cannot and should not be the one who alone is glorified foremost.
A true nation should glorify its true heroes for they help survive life, help civic decorum in times of war and peace and always bring a smile by touching people in that special way. They are the reason a true nation gets its stability, respect and peace all throughout the year, come what may. It is they who define a true nation by together addressing the needs of its people in all conditions.
A true nation has true heroes whom it respects and helps perform for the sake of humanity. Neither a true nation nor its true heroes are ever forgotten. The true nation is loved and its true heroes who live for others and are rightly remembered long even after they cease to exist.
